A lot of people don't know this, but the Green Bay Packers are one of the most successful teams in the history of the NFL. They have the most NFL league Championships, dating back all the way to 1919 when one of its founders, Earl Lambeau was able to secure enough funds for team uniforms. The uniforms came were sponsored by a local company called Indian Packing Company hence where came the nick name "Packers".

Two of those Championships were the two first ever Super Bowls after the NFC and AFC merged to become the NFL. So celebrated was Lombardi that many books and management training, and motivational seminars have been based around his philosophies.

The Green Bay Packers continue to prosper in the NFL due to excellent management and a incredibly loyal fan base in Wisconsin.
